Porosnusantaranews,BALIKPAPAN – Anggota DPRD Provinsi Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) dari Fraksi PPP Dapil Balikpapan, Nurhadi Saputra, menyampaikan kekecewaannya terhadap Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Balikpapan terkait lambatnya realisasi pembangunan Rumah Sakit Balikpapan Timur.
Rumah sakit yang direncanakan berlokasi di Gang Kacang, Kelurahan Lamaru, Kecamatan Balikpapan Timur—yang juga merupakan dapil Nurhadi saat menjabat di DPRD Kota Balikpapan—dinilai sangat mendesak untuk segera dibangun demi memenuhi kebutuhan layanan kesehatan masyarakat.
“Saya sudah berkomunikasi dengan Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kota Balikpapan, Ibu Alwiati. Dulu direncanakan setelah Lebaran 2025 akan mulai dibangun, tapi sekarang sudah lewat Lebaran dan ternyata masih menunggu kontrak multiyears,” ujar Nurhadi saat ditemui awak media, pada Jumat (2/5/2025).
Nurhadi mempertanyakan komitmen Pemkot dalam mewujudkan janji pembangunan yang juga pernah menjadi bagian dari visi kampanye Wali Kota Balikpapan. Menurutnya, jika terus ditunda, kesan yang muncul adalah Pemkot tidak serius menanggapi kebutuhan masyarakat.
“Anggarannya juga sudah pernah kita bahas dan siapkan. Saya ingat, sekitar Rp20 miliar untuk tahap awal. Mau Rp10 miliar atau Rp15 miliar, silakan saja. Yang penting pembangunannya dimulai,” tegasnya.
Nurhadi menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya di DPRD Provinsi Kaltim siap membantu, termasuk lewat skema bantuan keuangan provinsi. Ia bahkan telah berkoordinasi dengan Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Kaltim, H. Baba, dan menyebut 10 anggota DPRD dari Balikpapan siap memperjuangkan anggaran untuk mempercepat pembangunan RS tersebut.
“Lahan sudah ada, anggaran awal juga sudah tersedia. Kenapa harus menunggu lagi? Jangan didramatisir. Masyarakat sudah tidak bisa menunggu, ini soal kebutuhan dasar,” katanya.
Sebagai informasi, rumah sakit yang dirancang memiliki lima lantai tersebut akan dibangun di atas lahan seluas 5.000 meter persegi, berlokasi tak jauh dari Pantai Manggar Segara Sari dan Yonif Raider 600/Modang. Proyek ini diperkirakan membutuhkan total anggaran sebesar Rp272 miliar dengan skema kontrak tahun jamak (multiyears). Untuk tahap awal, Pemkot telah mengalokasikan anggaran sebesar Rp19 miliar pada tahun anggaran 2025.
Selain menyoroti lambatnya pembangunan RS, Nurhadi juga mengungkapkan keprihatinan atas kondisi lalu lintas di Balikpapan Timur, khususnya di Jalan Mulawarman yang kerap mengalami kemacetan. Ia menjelaskan bahwa perbaikan jalan tersebut merupakan kewenangan pemerintah provinsi.
“Kami tidak minta kota memperbaiki Jalan Mulawarman, karena itu tanggung jawab provinsi. Tapi pembangunan sarana masyarakat seperti rumah sakit seharusnya jadi prioritas kota. Ayo kita berbagi peran. Kami siap membantu melalui komunikasi dan anggaran provinsi,” tutupnya. (mto)
