Porosnusantaranews,BALIKPAPAN – Walaupun habis diguyur hujan deras, wujud kepedulian terhadap lingkungan kembali ditunjukkan Organisasi Masyarakat Gerakan Putra Putri Asli Kalimantan (Geppak). Pada Minggu (23/11/2025), puluhan anggota turun melakukan bakti sosial membersihkan kawasan Taman Tugu Adipura di samping pertigaan Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani-Pangeran Antasari, Kelurahan Gunung Sari Ilir, Balikpapan Tengah.



Ketua Pelaksana Bakti Sosial Edy Badrun menyebut kegiatan ini merupakan inisiatif internal Geppak sebagai dukungan nyata terhadap kebersihan Kota Balikpapan. “Kami ingin menunjukkan kepedulian terhadap kota ini. Karena itu, kami ambil bagian membersihkan area Tugu Adipura,” ujarnya.

Ia menegaskan, aksi sosial seperti ini bukan pertama kali dilakukan Geppak. Namun momentum kali ini menjadi ajang menguatkan kembali komitmen organisasi. “Kami fokus melakukan hal-hal positif. Tidak hanya di kawasan Adipura, ke depan kami juga akan menyasar lokasi lainnya,” jelas pria yang juga menjabat Wakil Ketua PAC Geppak Kota Balikpapan itu.

Wakil Ketua Umum Geppak, Alfiansyah, menambahkan organisasi telah menyiapkan program sosial lanjutan, salah satunya rencana bedah rumah bagi warga kurang mampu. “Kami sudah koordinasi dengan kelurahan, kecamatan, dan para ketua RT. Pendataan rumah tidak layak huni sudah berjalan. Pelaksanaan kemungkinan setelah pergantian tahun,” ujarnya.

Serangkaian Program 2026
Edy memaparkan sejumlah agenda Geppak sepanjang 2026. Setelah kerja bakti masal, Geppak dijadwalkan melakukan pengamanan (gepam) Natal 25 Desember dan Tahun Baru 2026 di wilayah Balikpapan Tengah bersama seluruh PAC. Agenda serupa juga akan dilakukan pada Idulfitri dan Iduladha.

Program lain ialah penyelenggaraan Camat Cup I Balikpapan Tengah, turnamen sepak bola yang digelar setelah Idulfitri. Geppak Balikpapan Tengah bertindak sebagai sponsor pelaksana, didukung seluruh cabang Geppak Balikpapan. “Tujuannya untuk menghidupkan Ormas yang baru terbentuk, termasuk kami yang baru berjalan sekitar tiga bulan,” kata Edy.

Ia menegaskan bahwa seluruh kegiatan dilakukan secara mandiri. “Kami ingin menunjukkan bahwa program bisa berjalan tanpa harus bergantung pada dana. Kerjakan, jalankan, biarkan masyarakat dan pemerintah yang menilai,” tegasnya.

Dukungan Penuh dari Pemerintah dan Wilayah
Program Geppak ini, kata Edy, telah disampaikan ke Pengurus Pusat Geppak Indonesia di Banjarmasin dan ke seluruh cabang di Balikpapan. Dukungan pun datang dari berbagai pihak. Beberapa donatur membantu pengadaan cat, sementara Camat Balikpapan Tengah memberikan 70 kotak nasi. Dukungan juga datang dari Lurah Sumber Rejo, Lurah Karang Rejo, Kesbangpol, dan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Balikpapan.

“Yang penting adalah semangat turun langsung. Ini menunjukkan anggota tidak hanya bicara, tapi bergerak,” kata Edy.

Puluhan Relawan Turun Membersihkan Taman
Sedikitnya 80 relawan terlibat dalam pembersihan taman dan pengecatan fasilitas umum di area Taman Tugu Adipura. Pengecatan dilakukan dengan warna hitam dan putih. Kegiatan diawali pukul 07.00, sempat diguyur hujan, dan berlanjut hingga sekitar pukul 13.00.

Aksi sosial ini turut didukung Wakil Ketua Geppak Pusat Alfiansyah, Ketua DPW Geppak Kaltim Marhan Agus, serta Ketua PAC Geppak Kota Balikpapan.
