Porosnusantaranews,BALIKPAPAN – Kesiapsiagaan menghadapi potensi bencana alam di Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) menjadi agenda utama jajaran Polda Kaltim. Pada Sabtu (6/12/2025), Satuan Brimob Polda Kaltim turut serta dalam Apel Gelar Pasukan yang dilanjutkan dengan Simulasi Tanggap Darurat Bencana Hidrometeorologi Tahun 2025. Acara penting ini dipusatkan di Balikpapan Sport Convention Center (BSCC) Dome, Jalan Ruhui Rahayu, Kota Balikpapan.
Apel gelar pasukan tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Kepala Kepolisian Daerah (Kapolda) Kaltim, Irjen Pol. Endar Priantoro. Hadir dalam acara tersebut seluruh unsur Forum Komunikasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) Kalimantan Timur dan Pejabat Utama (PJU) Polda Kaltim, termasuk Komandan Satuan (Dansat) Brimob Polda Kaltim, Kombes Pol. Andy Rifai. Kehadiran berbagai instansi ini menunjukkan komitmen kolaboratif dalam penanggulangan bencana.
Simulasi tanggap darurat yang digelar ini bertujuan untuk menguji kesiapan seluruh elemen dalam menghadapi skenario bencana hidrometeorologi, seperti banjir, tanah longsor, dan angin puting beliung, yang rentan terjadi di Kaltim. Melalui kegiatan ini, Satbrimob Polda Kaltim diharapkan berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan personel dalam penyelamatan, memastikan kelengkapan dan kesiapan peralatan SAR yang dimiliki, serta memperkuat koordinasi lintas instansi penanggulangan bencana.
Dansat Brimob Polda Kaltim, Kombes Pol. Andy Rifai, menegaskan peran vital Brimob dalam penanganan bencana. "Brimob adalah satuan yang memiliki kemampuan spesifik dalam SAR dan penanggulangan bencana. Apel gelar dan simulasi ini adalah momentum krusial untuk mengukur response time dan skill personel kami. Kami pastikan Brimob siap bergerak cepat dan profesional dalam memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan dan pertolongan pertama kepada masyarakat yang terdampak," tegas Kombes Pol. Andy Rifai.
Dengan kesiapan yang diuji dan koordinasi yang diperkuat melalui simulasi ini, diharapkan seluruh unsur yang terlibat, khususnya Satbrimob Polda Kaltim, menjadi semakin andal dan terpadu. Kesiapsiagaan ini menjadi modal utama dalam menghadapi potensi ancaman bencana di wilayah Kalimantan Timur, sehingga segala dampak yang ditimbulkan dapat diminimalisir dan masyarakat merasa terlindungi oleh kehadiran aparat negara.
